Mohamed Farah has been hired by Stearns Bank N.A for a newly created position as its Community Development Coordinator in a unique collaboration with the African Development Center. Mr. Farah has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is a motivated entrepreneur with 8+ years of experience, building successful transportation and property management businesses from the ground up.
“This position is to mainly provide access to capital for the community," Farah said. "I'll engage the community in innovative ways."
Stearns is the 15th-largest bank in the Twin Cities with about $2.3 billion in deposits. Overall, the bank has about 440 employees across its network. The bank has a branch network in Minnesota, Florida and Arizona.
