October 2011 Business Breakfast Roundtable

This month saw one of the largest Roundtable crowds of the year, as Jo-Anne Stately, Director of Grantmaking and Special Projects at the Minneapolis Foundation, led the discussion. Focused on findings from the recent OneMinneapolis report, Stately presented in front of an eager crowd in the Meridel Le Seuer Education Center of ADC.

This report, a partnership between Minneapolis Foundation and Wilder Research, dug much deeper into research on issues of disparity as it pertains to race, language, gender, and birthplace. The discussion of this month’s roundtable is a wonderful sample of the many topics research and findings like this can have, as well as the great potential for ways in which organizations and policy makers can better address these issues when armed with richer data.
